testworX Inc. Selected as Exclusive Reseller of 4Cable TV Products in Canada
Oct 31, 2013 (Al Bawaba Business via COMTEX) — 4Cable TV International, Inc., a global manufacturer of outdoor transmission equipment for Cable TV and Internet providers, announced today that the company has entered into an exclusive reseller agreement with testworX Inc. of Brockville, Ontario, Canada (http://www.testworX.ca). testworX Inc. (“testworX”) is now the exclusive authorized reseller of 4Cable TV products in Canada.
4Cable TV, developer of the RF2F Cable TV Network Extension System and the PowerMisera”c power efficient cable TV amplifier system amplifier and other innovative technologies, is now bringing its products to the Canadian market.
“We are looking forward to introducing our unique and proprietary products to Canada,” said Steven K. Richey, President of 4Cable TV. “testworX has already started to deliver results for us, securing an initial purchase order of our RF2F system and soliciting inquiries from several Canadian cable companies wanting to explore the use of our technology to expand their local networks. Our technology not only provides cable operators with an easy to implement and cost effective way to add new customers to their networks; it can provide consumers, who up until now might have been just outside the service area of a cable TV and Internet system provider, access to the high level of services and programming offered by those providers.”
“We are excited to be the exclusive 4Cable TV reseller in Canada. 4Cable TV’s product line is ideal for the Canadian cable market as many systems in Canada have numerous homes and potential customers located just outside of their service areas. RF2F provides cable operators a simple and low-cost way to expand their service areas with its patent-pending technology,” said David Holmes, President of testworX Inc.
4Cable TV’s RF2F technology is able to economically extend RF Cable TV networks’ end of line service areas by converting coaxial cable service back to fiber optic and thus allowing up to 10,000 foot drops, as compared to the now allowable 250 foot coaxial drops. In addition, the Company’s PowerMisera”c power efficient cable TV amplifier product line allows cable providers to increase bandwidth while reducing power consumption, resulting in lower operating costs and a smaller environmental footprint.
